Hina Ahsan
Director
I feel honoured to be a part of this wonderful community, joined in hands to support Moawin Foundation and to take its dream forward.
Hina has been in uk for the past 23 years . After completing her degree & working as a Fashion Designer back home, she switched to interior design in London but the heart was still with its people in Pakistan and that resolute to her being in constant touch with various charities helping to improve the lives of our countrymen.
After raising fund for a small charity in Islamabad for the kids education in slums, she soon realised that the only way forward for our country is education, hence she worked with other bigger charities like Read foundation.
TCF & Rashadabad to help raise funds for the construction of new schools and institutions for the underprivileged. Hina then went on to support other humanitarian organisations like orphans in need & GLT in health sector and worked with few others like Ghrf, to help the needy back home and lately had an opportunity to raise funds to establish an Islamic college in Cambridge with CMC for the better future of Muslim students in the country.
My contribution towards these great projects has usually been to raise funds from this part of the world and making sure that the money reached & served its purpose back home.
I still consider myself to be a learner & would love to engage more by contributing my time and energy to help Moawin foundation in whatever capacity I can.
